The Act of Creating Art is a Healing Act
I believe Creativity as Therapy has power Mind-heartedly In my Intuitive guided practice, I often connect to my inner senses using colours flow freely. Intuition allows me to tap and focus into NOW & Creativity Keeps us Connected. I have been painting intuitively since the start of my early studies in London ( Mary Ward Center- Foundation years & Middlesex Uni. Fine Art department) I let myself play with the materials, creating various effects while working simultaneously on others in similar fashion. Once that playful process resolves I imagine shapes and forms developing, allowing myself to connect and bring out those magical forms to surface as a layered approach. Essentially it takes me sometimes weeks to complete one work, maybe longer but I am finding this very meditative and enjoyable.
